The Health Care Aide Full-Time Program equips you with the essential skills to assist patients, clients, and residents with daily living activities while supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You’ll learn how to promote patient autonomy, provide compassionate care, and become a vital part of a healthcare team across various care settings, from hospitals to long-term care facilities, private homes, and more.


This 6-month program includes 13 essential courses, offering a dynamic blend of theory, practical skills, and real-world experience through an on-site practicum. With a total of 582 hours of training, you’ll graduate prepared to step into the workforce and make an immediate impact as a skilled healthcare professional.



What You Will Learn:


Our program covers a broad range of topics, providing you with both the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to excel in the healthcare field:

  • Health Care Aide Roles & Responsibilities: Understanding your critical role across various care settings, and working collaboratively with healthcare teams.

  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living: Practical techniques for helping clients with mobility, hygiene, dressing, and feeding.

  • Human Anatomy & Physiology: Key concepts from infancy through late adulthood, helping you understand how to address the unique needs of each individual.

  • Interpersonal Communication & Relationships: Developing empathy and professionalism in interactions with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Health & Safety: Techniques for maintaining a safe environment, preventing falls, and ensuring infection control.
